Coal mining still requires people to work underground. (p,8)

How do you know many people work under the ground? Also I don’t know about coal mining. First coal mining is one of the main work-related activities. Coal mining’s worker has worked underground mining coal since the 1800s. Coal mining became an industry in the 1800s because the time was the Industrial Revolution. In the1800s, the coal became energy for steam trains. Moreover, it became goods to hear houses.

Coal is still mined today. Now various machinery and equipment uses to mine and collect coal. Coal miners operate equipment that keeps tunnels from collapsing. That is a big problem. Collapsing is very dangerous. They cannot work with operating equipment. They use big bolts that support the roof. Working under the ground is so busy.

Coober Pedy is a town in South Australia. Coober Pedy is such a hot place, most people who live there live underground. It is amazing!! Living underground is very strange for me but they like the way to live. Also there are underground houses, hotels and shops. Moreover, there is even and underground church! It is very funny! Also the city is known as the “opal Capital” of the world.
