UP

This movie UP was made by Pixar Animation Studios in 2009 and  Japanese title is “カールおじさんと空飛ぶ家”. UP became an Academy Award candidate that year　and won many awards! UP is an animation but the background is CG and it has wonderful views! It was great and looked like genuine scenery. The chief characters are “Carl Fredricksen “and Russell. Carl is an old person and Russell is a wilderness explorer who is rather brave. After Carl lost his wife and spends his daily life being bored, the story begins…

  First classical music plays. The stringed instruments of a splendid orchestra played a melody when Carl was going down the stairs then. I like classical music so I like the scene because the music matched the scene and emphasized the scene of Carl going  down stairs. Also Carl made a lot of balloon and tied them to his house after the earlier scene and his house flew!!!Then a waltz played! It was slowly and wonderful music and the image that as if his house walked in the sky!! I won over and this gave me to a great impression.

  Second I was surprised at two scenes. To begin with, it was a scene of stormy wind. I was afraid that his house should fall from the sky because of  the weather. But Carl and Russell were able to make it through the the storm somehow. I really felt nervous! Also I liked the scene that scene where they went down below to confirm where they were nervous because there was a cliff when they fell on the ground. They almost fell of the cliff!! I was remaining nervous when I watched the scene. I have raised a voice in the scene so I impressed by the realism.

 

 

   The story advances for a while, and Kevin and Dug appear on the scene. Kevin is an ancient famous bird and likes Russell. Also, Dug is a dog and very unique and that can talk in English. I like Dug in this character because Dug is amiable and very interesting!! Besides Dug likes to play with a ball. Dug loves to play with a ball and does not calm down when he see a ball. Kevin do not calm down like Dug if he sees a chocolate. I could not stop laughing when I watch the scene.

  I introduce the scene that thought that I thought was interesting! First I like the scene that Russell used Kevin’s feet like a pair of stilts. I burst into laughter!! The scene was very interesting. Second I like the scene where dogs said  that Carl the smelled of like dentures cream. It’s funny. Also, I love the scene that dogs poured wine for the master. Although I thought that if I pour liquor, I would keep spilling it. I has a great roar of laughter!! I want to watch the scene again.

  Finally there was one more great impression. Let’s put up the scene! I like the scene when the house of the Carl went gone down near a waterfall. It is a great romantic scene!! Carl does not know the thing but a dream came true. And at the time of award ceremony, Carl gave Russel a for the person helped the elderly. I cried when I watched the scene. It is wonderful impression! I learned many things from watching this movie. I want to introduce it to a lot of people. If you watch this movie, you are happy. I had a nice time during watching “UP”.
